This early work was quite process driven prior to the presentation of the final result. The first stage was building a photoset and staging a series of filmic scenes. The set was then dismantled and various pieces of the furniture were taken into the photographic darkroom where light sensitive liquid photographic emulsion was applied. This furniture was then exposed to the same photographs and developed and processed as a traditional B&W photograph, all in the darkroom. The work was part inspired by Proust's description of his childhood bedroom and the lantern that projected images on its walls, playing with the ideas of space, time and memory.
